Wicked GT guns for Enzo

At least three of the $1-million super sports cars will find their way into the hands of Australian buyers, although all are expected to, initially, be delivered in Europe. Porsche Cars Australia is understood to plan the Euro delivery so owners can at least spend some time enjoying the hard to imagine performance of the Carrera GT before returning them to the land of OZ, where they won't be road legal and they won't be able to enjoy the performance on public roads. Speaking of performance, the Carrera GT, with its 5.7-litre, 425kW, V10 engine and six-speed gearbox, can hit 160km/h in just 9.9 seconds! According to Porsche test driver Walter Rohrl the GT feels devastatingly fast and to quote him "600bhp is about the limit for a road car in the dry." Well Walt you'd know! Despite this, Rohrl also claims the GT is just as easy to drive on the limit as its lesser Porsche siblings. For the moment we'll have to take Walter's word for it but we will be making every effort to get our hands on one of the cars for a future SCR test.
